Guy Hoquet selects 4 startups to reinvent real estate

The real estate market is faced with the urgent need to reinvent itself. In 2023, sales fell sharply in France (-20%). And despite a drop in prices (a first since 2015), recovery is not expected this year.

What if innovation made it possible to alleviate the situation for professionals in the sector? “We must reinvent property models by offering accessible alternatives, since it has become increasingly difficult to access property and rental for a large part of our fellow citizens,” considers Stéphane Fritz, president of Guy Hoquet Real Estate.

New services for owners and tenants

In order to identify alternatives to traditional models, the network of 550 agencies and 4,000 employees organized its innovation prize in January. A “first” according to its organizer. A call for projects resulted in the collection of more than 30 applications.

Only 10 Proptech startups were invited to present their solution to a jury, in which “Les Cousins”, a collective of digital transformation entrepreneurs, participated. On January 29, Guy Hoquet formalized the names of the four winners

Three candidates were selected for the Guy Hoquet Innovation Prize. The jury awarded a fourth actor the Best Pitch prize. The winners thus land a partnership for 2024 with the French network.

With COOLOC, Guy Hoquet plans to offer landlords and tenants new solutions. The startup publishing a SaaS platform specializes in coliving and co-location.

Energy renovation in sight

Thanks to these services, the network aims to increase owners’ rental income and their profitability. For renters, the promise lies in “additional opportunities to find housing.”

With CASAM-PRO, Guy Hoquet will this time tackle the niche of energy renovation of homes. The startup will support the skills development of real estate agents in this area through training.

Proptech also provides a calculation tool involved in the estimation of a category of DPE, the costing of a work project, associated aid, as well as the impact of this work on the value of the property. and expected energy savings.

Guy Hoquet endorses fractionalized real estate

The collaboration with SIGNITIC will focus on email signatures. The goal: to automate and personalize email agent signatures, configure templates, manage user groups and deploy the brand’s communications.

The pitch prize finally goes to OPCAP, provider of a fractional real estate investment solution. Through an online service, the startup allows you to invest from 100 euros and claim monthly profitability of 5 to 7%.

“With OPCAP, the entire Guy Hoquet l’Immobilier network will be able to offer all buyer profiles the opportunity to start a simple and easily accessible rental investment project,” underlines the company.
