After saying yes in the summer of 2002, the couple gave birth to their two children a few years later: Rose and Romy. It must be said that Émilie Thérond almost seemed destined to end her days in the arms of a journalist. The 54-year-old mother is, in fact, the daughter ofa former editor-in-chief and editorial director of Paris Match, and an editor-in-chief of the newspaper The Republican of Uzès. Journalism has been in her blood since a young age.

Their meeting at CAPA

After being raised in Gard and having pursued history studies, the young student gets her first professional experience within the press agency CAPA. As chance would have it, her future husband frequents the same house, almost at the same time. Very quickly, Émilie Thérond is passionate about directing.
