Gwen Stefani addresses touching words to her husband Blake Shelton. The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Gwen Stefani, 52, and Blake Shelton, 46, celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Sunday. To mark the occasion, the singer shared a romantic photo and video throwback to Instagram, addressing soulful words to her husband.
Gwen Stefani: Sweet declaration of love on Instagram
“A year behind us, eternity ahead of us,” the 52-year-old wrote about a video on Instagram that shows the couple kissing at various moments during their wedding. She shared the video with the song “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley.
Blake Shelton: “Thanks for saying yes!”
The video also shows the chapel on Shelton’s ranch in Tishomingo, where the two musicians said yes exactly a year ago. This is followed by several tender moments, including at their wedding dance.
Blake Shelton also posted a photo of the wedding party an hour later, showing him and Gwen Stefani dancing. “Happy anniversary to the woman who makes my world work,” he captioned his post. “Because of you, this year has been the best of my life. I love you!!!! Thanks for saying yes!”

The singer promptly replies: “My dream man – thank you God!!!!”. Sweet declarations of love and mutual links can also be seen in the stories of the happy couple.
The two stars celebrated their wedding on July 3, 2021 with about 40 of their closest friends and family, including ‘The Voice’ co-star and presenter Carson Daly, 49, who hosted the ceremony.

Gwen Stefani wore not one, but two bespoke wedding dresses by designer Vera Wang, 73, on this special day. Her veil was inscribed with the names of her three sons from her first marriage to Gavin Rossdale, 56, Kingston, 16, Zuma, 13, and Apollo, 8, hand-embroidered with her and Shelton’s names.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton met as coaches on The Voice in 2015. The country music star then proposed to the singer in October 2020. Marrying Gwen Stefani is his third marriage.
