Daniela Katzenberger, 37, reminisces on Instagram. Her famous father-in-law Costa Cordalis (1944-2019), who died in Mallorca in 2019, would have celebrated his 80th birthday on May 1st. She would like to pay tribute to the Greek-German pop star with a shared photo and a few touching lines.
“That was your last birthday with us,” she writes about the photo in which Cordalis and Katzenberger hug each other and beam up to their ears at the camera. “I would have liked to celebrate so many more with you. All the best, my angel,” the “cat” continued. The post also received musical accompaniment from a piano version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”.
Costa Cordalis died in Mallorca in 2019
Every year on May 1st, the 37-year-old remembers her late father-in-law, who celebrated his greatest success with the hit “Anita” (1976). Costa Cordalis died on July 2, 2019 at the age of 75 in Mallorca surrounded by his family. Son Lucas Cordalis, 56, has been married to TV star Daniela Katzenberger since 2016. The two have a daughter Sophia, who was born in 2015.
