Mockery in the network for testimony in the ski accident process

Gwyneth Paltrow is in trouble. The Hollywood actress is currently appearing in court over a skiing accident that happened in 2016. She is now being mocked online for one of her statements in particular.
Gwyneth Paltrow, 50, is going viral! The actress and entrepreneur is currently facing trial in a Utah court for a 2016 skiing accident. She doesn’t seem to be doing particularly well, at least when it comes to social media users. And even a prominent colleague makes fun of it in public.

But first, Terry Sanderson sued Gwyneth Paltrow in 2019 for $3.1 million, accusing her of colliding with him on a ski slope at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah and causing him permanent traumatic brain injury. The 50-year-old counterclaimed, claiming he drove into her on the runway. She also sought a dollar (yes, really only a dollar) in damages and reimbursement of her legal fees from the plaintiff.
On one day of the trial, Paltrow testified on the witness stand and was questioned by a lawyer about the losses she suffered as a result of the accident. Her answer: “Well, we lost half a day of skiing.”

The pity on social media for Gwyneth’s “loss” is limited. And fellow actress Busy Philipps, 43, can’t resist a little bit. On her Instagram account, she shares a selfie with actress Jen Tullock while drinking a cocktail and includes Gwyneth’s quote below.

Twitter is also busy making fun of the Hollywood star’s statement. “I hate to tell you, but if you hit the slopes now, you’ve missed half a day of skiing, which is the worst thing that can happen to anyone,” jokes one user.
Another sarcastically wrote: “He can make more money but Gwyneth will NEVER get back half the day she lost skiing. So who’s really the bad guy here?” Another Twitter user shared a picture of video game character Mario holding his chest, his face contorted in pain, and commented, “Gwyneth Paltrow after losing half a day skiing.”
A user refers to the famous scented candles of the “Goop” founder: “Half a day of skiing that she will never get back! How many vagina candles did that cost her?!”
But that’s not all of the cheeky jokes at Gwyneth’s expense. She also has to endure comparisons with serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, whose life was recently filmed in the Netflix series “Dahmer”, after appearing in court on one of the trial days with large aviator glasses.
