Still according to the hacker, the database in question would date from February 27, 2024. He published a sample of the data it contains and we find a lot of information there: name, first name, postal address, email address, mobile or landline telephone number… It’s chilling, but you have to keep in mind that ‘at the time of publishing this article, nothing can confirm that this data theft really took place. However, it is also not possible to refute it with certainty.

On X (Twitter), AI engineer Anis Ayari urges caution. He first notices that despite the supposed date of the hack, LDLC has not yet made any statement, which is surprising. He also notes the presence ofProfessional information in addition to personal ones and, finally, that in the extract of data posted by the hacker, users have the same zip codein Puy-de-Dôme.

Anis Ayari wonders if it is not rather a question ofinformation specific to an LDLC store, and not 1.5 million customers as announced. In any case, we advise you if in doubt to change your password if you have an account on the e-commerce site. Better to stay careful.
