Deborah and Ava’s show isn’t over yet. HBO Max is giving the comedy series “Hacks” a 3rd season. The series makers announced this on Instagram.

Hacks Season 3: Launch
There is no official start date yet. Based on the previous seasons, we can probably May 2023 with Season 3 on HBO Max calculate.
Hacks Season 3: Storyline
Details about the plot of season 3 are not yet available. Season 2 ended with Deborah firing Ava so she could build her own career. Ava was shocked and disappointed by this. But she got a job offer as a writer from Jimmy. Deb also dropped her lawsuit against Ava over the email.
So in Season 3 we’ll see how Ava is doing at her job and how Deborah’s career is progressing now that she’s back on track. We’ll also learn how the two women’s relationship develops now that they’re no longer working together.

Hacks Season 3: Cast
At the moment we can assume that all the main actors will return in the new episodes. That means we’ll see Jean Smart (“Mare of Easttown”) as Deborah Vance, Hannah Einbinder as Ava, Christopher McDonald (“Boardwalk Empire”, “The Good Wife”) as Marty, and Kaitlin Olson as Deborah’s daughter DJ..
Laurie Metcalf (“The Conners”), Ming-Na Wen (“The Book of Boba Fett”) and Martha Kelly (“Baskets”) should also be part of the cast again.
