Hades II finally gives his news, but it’s not good

During the Game Awards 2022, Supergiant Games (Bastion, Transistor, Pyre) revealed Hades IIcontinuation of his Rogue-like action-RPG. Information was scarce then, we only had Mélinoe, princess of Hellwill replace Zagreus, son of Hadesand that it will be necessary to use the powers of Gods of Olympus to defeat the forces of Time Titan.

Like the first part, Hades II will first go through a phase ofearly access on PCbefore welcoming updates up to 1.0 and inevitable ports to consoles, even if nothing has been confirmed at present. Hades II should therefore arrive in 2023 in early access, but unfortunately, Supergiant Games announcement that the game will be launched in early access during the second quarter of 2024 on PC. Yes, the wait will be long, but the developers specify that the content at launchearly access will be as substantial as the first opus at this same stage of development, and updates will obviously add a bunch of elements and improvements thanks to feedback from future players.

Moreover, some lucky people will be able to try Hades II a little before its release in early access, still in the second quarter of 2024, through a technical test. A closed beta which will be very limited in content this time, but which will be used to find and correct compatibility problems, so that the launch in early access do the best in the world.
