Half Life first of the name, a second opus and finally, a VR episode in 2020, Alix. That’s all fans of the series have to sink their teeth into for now. And yet, it is clearly an iconic license which has left its mark on an entire generation. In the absence of a third episode demanded body and soul by the community, it is becoming more and more common for fans to recreate its universe on other games, notably thanks to mods. Half Life X Devil May Cry 5
Let’s now imagine the characters, the enemies, and even the dialogues of Half-Life all in a more rock atmosphere with swords and guns like that of Devil May Cry 5 and in particular with the mechanics of the game. It’s now real with the Devil May Crowbar mod. Thanks to him, Dante will become Gordon Freeman, Virgil transforms into G-Man and Nero gives way to the face of Dr. Kleiner. This original creation, to say the least, not only replaces the main characters with those from Half Life, but also modifies the dialogues. The mod creator even collaborated with a team to record original dialogue for each character.
The different weapons of DMC 5 are modified to make room for those of Half Life and the same goes for the enemies. So, with Devil May Crowbar, you will fight with the mechanics of a beat’em up against trackers and ant-lions. Many other surprises can be discovered by installing the mod. To use the latter, you will obviously need to have an official version of Devil May Cry 5 then download the mod in question from the NexusMod site and follow the installation instructions. In this way, you will be able to find one of the most iconic franchises on your PC. A rather surprising meeting of two universes, but which clearly makes you smile, proof is provided by this little presentation video.
