Halo Infinite: Five new maps expected to arrive soon

According to a new Halo Infinite leak, five new maps are set to arrive in multiplayer soon.

When Halo Infinite’s multiplayer launched on November 15, it came with a small selection of game modes and only 10 different maps.

While popular game modes like SWAT, now known as Tactical Slayer, and Fiesta have made their way back into the game, the developers still haven’t addressed the lack of maps.

However, according to a new leak, it looks like new maps are finally on the horizon for multiplayer.

Halo Infinite players are eagerly awaiting new maps for multiplayer.

Halo Infinite leak reveals five new maps

On January 13, Twitter user leaks_infinite shared images of five new maps with their names: Cataract, Forbidden, Beltway, Solitude, and Bath Salts which some users believe might be called “Basalts”.

This leak shows the maps in the early stages of development, using various assets from the game itself to create replacement images. So that means what’s included in the tweet isn’t the final version we’ll see when they come out.

As always, any such leaks or rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, especially since 343 Industries has yet to comment officially on the matter.

One thing is for sure, this news should delight Halo fans who have been wanting to see new maps arrive since the game launched.
