Halo Infinite gets the best start to the series, with 20 million players

The least we can say is that Halo Infinite come a long way. From its first gameplay presentation to its release, 343 Industries worked to ensure that this episode met the expectations of the fans, and obviously, it paid off. In its last financial statement, Microsoft has revealed that Halo Infinite had signed the best start of the series.

The saga Halo stronger than ever

We therefore learn that these are not less than 20 million players who have tried the adventure since the launch, whether through the game’s single player or its multiplayer which, let’s remember, is free. The title also benefited from its promotion on the Game Pass, and no doubt it was used to sell a few subscriptions in the process, but it would be interesting to know how many real copies of Halo Infinite were sold (which was not communicated).

A paying strategy for Microsoft, which shows that the postponement of the game has surely done it the greatest good. The objective now will be to keep the bulk of this community through multiplayer, feeding the experience over the seasons.

Halo Infinite is available on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
