Hamas claims to have captured an ‘armed dolphin spy’

The Palestinian group Hamas claims to have captured an “Israeli spy dolphin equipped with weapons and capable of assassinating its fighters.”

Hamas uploaded a video in which the Palestinian organization’s military wing claims to have discovered this particular dolphin. The latter was, according to Hamas, equipped with a harness with weapons.

If the Israeli army has a fleet of “Dauphin” class submarines, the movement claims that it is not a naval vessel but a real mammal. Pictures of the harness were taken. The latter is equipped with what looks like a harpoon gun.

In 2015 a first dolphin discovered by Hamas

In August 2015, Hamas had already claimed that the Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, used dolphins as spies. The Palestinian group then declared that one of these dolphins had been captured.

In 2012, Turkey also accused Israel of using spy animals, including birds. Israel has so far not responded to Hamas’ new accusations.
