  • Israel will allow “another passage for civilians from northern Gaza and Gaza City to the south”assured the army spokesperson, while 300,000 to 400,000 people are still believed to be in the north of the territory where the humanitarian situation is considered catastrophic.
  • US Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned against “forced displacement” Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, after a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the occupied West Bank. According to the United Nationsmore than 1.5 million people have been displaced within the Gaza Strip.
  • Antony Blinken then traveled to Cyprus, where he discussed the creation “of a maritime corridor”, proposed by the Eastern Mediterranean island to provide humanitarian aid to the Palestinian territory.
  • Since the start of the conflict on October 7, 9,770 people, mainly civilians including 4,800 children, have been killed by Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip., according to the latest assessment on Saturday of the Hamas government, which has been in power there since 2007. In the West Bank, more than 150 Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Authority, were killed by fire from Israeli soldiers or settlers. Hamas’ attack on Israel killed 1,400 people.
