Hana Nitsche: So spontaneous was her "mini wedding" in Las Vegas

So: Model Hana Nitsche (34) got married! A few days ago, the former "GNTM" candidate surprised with wedding photos on Instagram. In an interview with the news agency, the 34-year-old now confirms the rumors. Already a month ago she gave her Chris in Las Vegas: "The wedding was very spontaneous and short-term and in a very small and intimate circle," said the mother of a little daughter.

When and where did you get married?

Hana Nitsche: The wedding was actually already a month ago. We took so long to announce it because we wanted to inaugurate all the important people who are close to us. The wedding was very spontaneous and short-term and in a very small and intimate circle. We didn't want friends and family who couldn't be there to hear about it through the media or the Internet, but from us directly. It has only now become official.

Who was there, could your family come too?

Nitsche: Because of the corona regulations and travel bans, only my in-laws were present and two witnesses who are very close friends of Chris. My family and friends couldn't fly in. But the most important person was there – our daughter. So it was very special for us.

How did you celebrate?

Nitsche: We flew to Las Vegas by jet, got married in a small church and then went out to eat with family and friends. After that we did a little road trip. We drove home the same evening. It was a quick mini wedding.

How spontaneous was the wedding?

Nitsche: It was very spontaneous! We've been talking about it for a while and looking for appointments, but the decision was actually made at the last minute. To be precise, the evening before Chris suggested simply flying to Las Vegas. We didn't even have wedding rings. I only had my engagement ring and I just put Chris on his grandmother's ring on his finger.

Your wedding dress was rather casual, didn't you want an expansive wedding dress?

Nitsche: There were no bridal shops that were open at the time. But somehow I thought it was really cool to get married in the boho style. However, we considered planning a ceremony with all of our friends and family in Germany again, and then also with a proper celebration and wedding dress.

How do you feel now as a newly married woman?

Nitsche: To be honest, not much has changed with us. It feels more like we've been married for ages. Now it's just official.

What's next, are you already planning child number 2?

Nitsche: We are now planning a family vacation. Chris definitely wants to go on the honeymoon. We hope that all travel restrictions will be relaxed soon. Child number 2 has to wait a little longer. But who knows, Aliya wasn't a planned baby either.

Will you continue to live in Los Angeles?

Nitsche: First of all, yes. I would also like to come back to Germany for a few months and spend some time with my family. Aliya gets so little from her grandma. It would be nice if the two could spend a little time together.

How is your model career going and when are you back in Germany?

Nitsche: Because of the Corona crisis everything was now on hold. But I hope that this will go away in the next few months and that I can work again. I will continue to pursue my career, and in September I will have my first major booking. I'm just waiting for the go-ahead for travel. As it looks, I will be back in Germany for a great campaign at the beginning of October and of course then use the time to see my mother again.
