Handcuffs clicked – offenders (22) caught after traffic accident

After an accident in the artist town of Gmünd, the handcuffs clicked for a 22-year-old!

A 22-year-old driver was driving in Gmünd with a car registered in Poland in the direction of Katschberstraße, skidded and then drove into a slope protection wall. The Georgian national was unharmed but fled the scene of the accident. The police were alerted by passers-by, who then searched for the driver of the accident. The young man was finally found in the municipality of Trebesing. Residence banAs it turned out, he had neither a driver’s license nor liability insurance. And the car wasn’t registered either. Further investigations revealed that the 22-year-old was even banned from staying in the Schengen area. The man was arrested and taken to the police prison in Klagenfurt.
