From November 21st, Hape Kerkeling presents “Hape and the 7 Dwarf States”. This is what the audience expects in the travel documentary.

Hape Kerkeling (56) returns on November 21 with “Hape and the 7 Dwarf States” (seven episodes on Sundays at 19:10 on VOX or via RTL +) back with their own TV show. The format was very important to the entertainer. “I thought about what I would actually like to do again on television. I’ve always wanted to travel to the seven dwarf states and know how these bizarre structures managed to outlast the ages and still exist today,” explains Kerkeling in the VOX interview. “And that’s what we shed light on in the program – historical, satirical, informative and touristic.”

As a travel guide, the singer and comedian takes the audience on an extraordinary journey through Andorra, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican. With residents and country experts, he takes a look behind the scenes of the miniature states.

In the first episode, Hape Kerkeling explores Malta, the Hollywood of the Mediterranean. More than 300 blockbusters and series have already been shot here. Among other things, he will sing on the island with the international opera star (43).

In episode two, Hape Kerkeling is received in Liechtenstein by a member of the local nobility and gets to know a Liechtenstein eagle with falconer Norman Vögeli. In addition, the 56-year-old is appointed mayor of Vaduz for one day.

Episode three is about the secrets of the Vatican: Kerkeling gets an insight into the everyday life of the Swiss guardsmen and meets the German religious priest, Father Norbert Hofmann (born 1959). Vatican expert Andreas Englisch (58) even managed to get him an audience with the Pope …

Another show with Dunja Hayali

Another program with the entertainer starts on December 6th on VOX: In “An Evening with Hape Kerkeling” he reads from his new book “Paws from the table! My cats, other cats and me” in the Hansa Theater in Hamburg. He answers questions from the audience and the journalist and presenter Dunja Hayali (47) and sings two songs live from his new album “Mal unter uns …”

Comeback after the break

The comedian, author, presenter, actor, voice actor and singer temporarily retired from show business on the occasion of his 50th birthday in 2014.

In 2019 he was back in front of the camera as an actor for “The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love” (2021) before the big TV comeback was announced in March 2021. In June 2021 his book “Pfoten vom Tisch!” And his album “Mal unter uns …” appeared in October.

Coming back to TV feels great, explains Kerkeling in a VOX interview. “During the pandemic, my hunger for the stage and for television suddenly increased again and I still have one or the other idea in my head that I would like to implement for television.”
