No doubt driven by the success of lomography and the strong return of film to the forefront, Harman launched into color with a 35 mm film usable from 100 to 400 ISO, which apparently proves to be quite demanding in terms of exposure. Harman warns future users of his film by specifying that the Phoenix 200 gives better results in good continuous light, but that in case of strong light or backlighting, a risk of halo exists.

Harman says the Phoenix 200 film produces high-contrast images with highly visible grain, bright, punchy colors with vigorous greens, pleasing reds and vibrant blues. The British firm emphasizes that sales of its film will be used to refine and improve the formulation of its film and to make each new generation better than the previous ones.
