Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris: the 30th edition will start on March 6th

Six months after the previous edition, the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris is resuming its pre-health crisis pace, and recovering its place as the first major Parisian race of the season, while the 30th edition is to be launched this Sunday, March 6.

“From the experienced runner to the one who hangs up his bib for the first time, the semi represents the ideal distance”, advance the organizers of the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris, a few days before the big start of this mythical foot race of 21, 0975km.

Last days to register

A total of 44,000 runners are expected to participate in the life-size event, after “reduced” editions due to the health crisis. In September, just under 20,000 people took part in the 29th edition.

On the course side, it remains unchanged. “The route will offer participants the opportunity to explore the most popular neighborhoods in eastern Paris, between city and nature”, can we read on the site.

They will leave from Ile Saint-Louis, take the quays on the left bank, before crossing the Tolbiac bridge and completing a loop in the Bois de Vincennes. Finally, they will take avenue Daumesnil to the quay on the right bank and the Hôtel de Ville, before a scheduled arrival after the place de la Bastille.

And beware, “there are only a few bibs left”, warn the organizers, less than 15 days before the start of the race.

A new course of 21.0975 km was unveiled to the public.

Finally, note that for the second consecutive year, the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris will be the support event for the French Handisport Half-Marathon Championships.

Any athlete with a disability, over the age of 20, licensed in athletics competition for the 2021-2022 season at the French Handisport Federation, can participate.
