Miss India is now also Miss Universe. Harnaaz Sandhu has been voted the most beautiful woman in the universe.
Harnaaz Sandhu (21) is Miss Universe 2021. The model from India prevailed in the 70th election for the most beautiful woman in the universe against Nadia Ferreira (22) from Paraguay and Lalela Mswane (24) from South Africa, among others. A total of 80 beauty queens from all over the world ran for election in Eilat, Israel.
Harnaaz Sandhu received the Miss Universe crown from her predecessor Andrea Meza (27). The Mexican was the reigning beauty queen for only seven months as her election had to be postponed due to the corona pandemic.
Chess as a hobby, women’s rights as a concern: that’s Miss Universe 2021
Harnaaz Sandhu qualified as the winner of the Indian contest Miss Diva 2021 for the Miss Universe election. The young woman, who works as a model and actress, prevailed in Israel in three rounds. After going through the swimsuit and evening dress, there was an interview with moderator Steve Harvey (64).
The new Miss Universum is committed to women’s rights. Her hobbies are yoga, dancing, cooking, horse riding and playing chess. Sandhu, born on March 3, 2000, is the third woman from India to be crowned Miss Universe after Sushmita Sen (46) in 1994 and Lara Dutta (43) in 2000.
