As those responsible announced, both the premiere on Sunday and all planned performances of the play in the next few days and weeks have been postponed to the period October 2020. However, tickets that have already been purchased remain valid and can be exchanged for tickets in autumn. Maik Klokow, managing director of the responsible production company Mehr-BB-Entertainment, said that it was one of the most difficult professional decisions he had to make.
However, the current circumstances would not allow a start. He asked all guests for understanding in this extraordinary situation: "I am very sorry." One day before this decision was made, the Hamburg health authority temporarily banned events involving more than 1,000 people in the course of the Corona crisis, as in almost all areas of Germany.
