Harvey Weinstein: He's back in prison

The fallen film mogul Harvey Weinstein (67) is back in prison. That reports "Page Six". After being hospitalized shortly after the verdict in his trial for an allegedly significantly increased blood pressure, he had been on Rikers Island prison again since Monday. A spokesman for Weinstein had confirmed that.

"Blood pressure rose dangerously"

"His blood pressure has risen dangerously, and because of his angioplasty last week, he has been taken to Bellevue Hospital to see and monitor him," a spokesman said a few days ago.

Last week Weinstein was sentenced to a total of 23 years in prison for third-degree rape and sexual abuse. A jury had found him guilty at the end of February. The conviction included rape of an actress in 2013 and sexual abuse of a production assistant in 2006.
