What is Masters of the Air?
Largely based on the book of the same name by Donald L. Miller, Masters of the Air tells the story of the men of the 100th Bombardment Group (nicknamed the “Bloody Hundredth” because of their significant losses) of the US 8th Air Force, responsible for bombing Nazi Germany and its industrial and strategic weapons locations during World War II.
This war fiction, carried by a cast of prestigious young talents – Austin Bulter, Callum Turner, Barry Keoghan, Ncuti Gatwa, Anthony Boyle, Nate Mann, Raff Law, Bel Powley and Joanna Kulig -, is a true television experience, inspired by stories and memoirs of real war heroes.

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by AlloCiné viewers, Band of Brothers is a 10-episode series inspired by the work of historian Stephen E. Ambrose. It tells the story of the soldiers of Easy Company, 506th parachute infantry regiment of the 101st US Airborne Division.
During the ten episodes broadcast in 2001 on HBO in the US and on France 2 in France, we follow these soldiers, in groups or individually, from their training in 1942 to the liberation in 1945, including their parachuting into Normandy on June 6, 1944.
Winner of the Golden Globe for best mini-series and 6 Emmy Awards (including best mini-series), Band of Brothers marked the history of television and allowed many actors to be revealed, notably Damian Lewis ( Homeland), James McAvoy (X-Men), Andrew Scott (Sherlock), Tom Hardy or Michael Fassbender.

The Pacific
Nine years later, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg reunited to produce another war series: The Pacific. Change of faction for this other fiction which still takes place during the Second World War since this time, we tell the story of three American marines in different stations in the Pacific.
These three marines enlisted in the army following the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 and will find themselves in the hell of the Pacific islands where the enemy is gaining ground. After the hope, determination and enthusiasm of youth, it is disillusionment, fear and death that will become part of their daily lives and will change their lives forever.
Critical and public success has once again been achieved for this series based on two books by veterans of the United States Marine Corps. Rated 4.3 out of 5 by AlloCiné spectators, The Pacific won no less than 14 awards, including the Emmy Award for best mini-series. The cast of this fiction included Rami Malek (Mr Robot), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Joseph Mazzello (Jurassic Park), James Badge Dale (24 Hours).
