Haven Studios: The PS5 game by Jade Raymond and her teams is talked about

Last year, we learned that Jade Raymondknown in particular for having worked on the beginnings of the series Assassin’s Creedrebounded from his failure at Google Stadia in order to found his own team, Haven Studios, which will work on a PS5 game. A few months later, if it is still far too early to have an overview of the game on which the studio is working, Jade Raymond and her teams have given some details about her project in the columns of the Le Devoir site, where they mention in particular their relationship with Sony.

A persistent world on the program

To found his studio, Jade Raymond’s team says they first needed to raise funds, and that’s where Sony came in. The publisher would then have offered Haven Studios to pitch three different projects to choose the best, but in the end, the studio is only working on one game for the moment. The latter is described as having a persistent and scalable online environment accessible by PC or PlayStation console », and which is even compared to Rainbow Six Siege.

This does not mean that it will be a shooter (the studio would even advocate the opposite with inclusion and benevolence on the program), but rather a connected game, which necessarily makes echoing recent statements from Sony who wanted to launch 10 service games by March 2026.

To help him in his project, we learn that Mark Cerny himself will help Haven Studios on this next title. The architect of the PS5 should then allow the teams to make the most of the console, by revealing all the secrets of the latter to them.

We do not know more for the moment, since the studio continues to recruit, but the project seems ambitious.
