Confession of a farmer in distress
If Laurent’s testimony touched hundreds of people, it is quite simply because his situation is alarming. In the documentary, the latter confided to Karine Le Marchand: “There are times when I wake up in the morning, even my coffee cup escapes me because I know I’m tired. I’m getting to a point where I weigh 49 kilos.” And to conclude his testimony: “We have permanent financial pressure. You never know what the next day will bring and you should know that to this day the farmer is a 100% manager!“
