In an interview with Ciné Télé Revue, Stéphane Bern made surprising revelations about his companion Yori. The host, keen on History, notably revealed the influence that his passion has on his couple.
Should we share everything in love? Not necessarily. In the couple formed by Stéphane Bern and Yori, in any case, it doesn’t work like that. Indeed, as the host confided to Cine TV Revuehis companion does not share his passion for history. “He’s a great guy (…He doesn’t take me very seriously, which is a good sign.” said Stéphane Bern. But if Yori does not have “the virus”, he is however present for his companion and support in each of his steps. “He has the merit of supporting me” added the 58-year-old presenter with humor.
For example, when the death of Queen Elizabeth II was announced at the age of 96, the young man adored by crowned heads was of great support to Stéphane Bern. Marked by this historic disappearance, “Mr. Heritage” struggled to recover from the death of the one who had made him a Knight of the Order of the British Empire. “I immediately had the image of my father, who I just lost, with the queen in 2014, when she decorated me” he confided. As a reminder, in 2022 Stéphane Bern lost his father Louis as well as his brother Armand.
Stéphane Bern as a couple: who is his companion Yori?
Very discreet about his private life, Stéphane Bern only very rarely mentions it. It was on June 26, 2021, during Gay Pride, that he formalized his relationship with Yori Bailleres. “Be proud for those who cannot” they said in the caption of this photo.
But in fact ; who is Yori? DJ in his youth, the young man left everything to start his own business: the dating club The Circle of Socrates. It was at the end of 2020 that he opened his high-end dating site allowing gay singles to have a place to chat. Having the defense of minorities at heart, Yori has also chosen to bring a caricative dimension to his project. Thus, his club donates 10% of its profits to the association Le Refuge, which helps young LGBT people in distress. Note that on his Instagram account, which has more than 30,000 subscribers, Yori describes himself as an optimistic little Frenchman, feminist, animal and art lover and citizen of the world.
Note that it is thanks to his dating club that Yori came across Stéphane Bern. To make this project a reality, a friend advised him to get closer to the public man. What if when they met the first was “disappointed in love“and the second”had given up believing in a soul mate”, the crush was immediate. For his part, Stéphane Bern felt “butterflies in the stomach”. “When this handsome young man arrived, I told myself that I was not going to let him go. (…) The next day, I called him to see him again”, he said. Madly in love, Stéphane Bern and Yori quickly became inseparable despite their 20-year gap. Moreover, on August 18, 2022, during an interview with Paris Match, Stéphane Bern revealed that they had settled a few months after their meeting. “I knew he was the man of my life, I wanted to prove it to him”, he confided. A union that is the equivalent of a marriage in their eyes. This is also why they offered wedding rings, symbols of their love. “We swore to each other so we consider ourselves married” he had added. For two years of love now, “feelings are still strong“.”I would even say that they are intensifying day by day“, considers Stéphane Bern who is delighted to share a relationship “very fusional” with his partner.
