“He felt alone”: Cédric Jubillar more than his shadow before the disappearance of Delphine

While a new request for release of Cédric Jubillar must be examined on January 11, a relative of the accused tells his point of view to the newspaper The Dispatch.

I saw him emaciated, he no longer wanted to make an effort. Cedric felt alone ”, reported a relative of Cédric Jubillar, to the newspaper La Dépêche on November 27, 2021. Whereas his lawyers have renewed a request release for him on January 4, 2022, the character of Cédric Jubillar continues to raise questions. “I think he lives with a lot of pain because this is all a mess and he is aware of it”, reported the same source to The Dispatch. This person who saw him grow up and, wishing to remain anonymous, thus reported the following testimony: “I don’t want to judge him. He felt abandoned by Delphine, whom I knew. When I see the condition of their half-finished house, it reflects this feeling of abandonment felt by Cédric, a few months before Delphine’s disappearance. He no longer shaved, let himself go… He was not good about himself ”. A Cedric Jubillar alone with himself therefore, before the disappearance of Delphine.

His wife’s body remains nowhere to be found

Cédric Jubillar is the husband of Delphine Jubillar, the nurse missing since December 2020, in the Tarn. On June 18, 2021, this 34-year-old plasterer is indicted for intentional homicide of a spouse and remanded in custody at the Seysses remand center in Haute-Garonne. The body of his wife Delphine, a nurse, is still nowhere to be found. A descent into hell for Cédric Jubillar, who still claims his innocence. “Delphine, it was his love of youth. From the age of 18, he was in love with her and their marriage in 2013 was an intense moment of happiness ”, tells the witness and close to the accused to The Dispatch.

After Delphine is gone : “He continued to act as if she was there”

The latest news on the Jubillar case date back to December 15, 2021. On that day, the accused’s new companion was placed in police custody for “Complicity in the concealment of a corpse” in Gaillac in the Tarn. Since then, the mystery still hangs over the investigation. The witness from La Dépêche added: “When Delphine disappeared, I wondered if he had really understood that his wife was no longer there. He continued to pretend she was there, giving the same foods to the children and keeping the same habits, as if she was going to come back … shared Cédric Jubillar’s close friend, before sadly concluding He did things like Delphine would have done them”.
