As reported by the Ordinals Bitcoin protocol block explorer, Ord.iothe data shows that a user has deposited more than 8.93 MB of data “raw binaries” on Bitcoin. This data was entered via 332 registrations resulting in transaction fees exceeding the $64,000i.e. an amount greater than 1 BTC.
The developer of Ord.io, Leonidas_NFT said via his X account that “some people say it can be encrypted, therefore potentially impossible or very difficult to decrypt.” Indeed, until now the content and author of these inscriptions are still unknown. Furthermore, a BTC miner has used ChatGPT to carry out the investigation, without obtaining results.
A message to decipher and anonymous transactions
The message written is largely composed of symbols Greek, English and mathematics. For the moment, no one has been able to find out the reason. An interesting fact to note is the appearance of pizza symbol on two of the 332 registrations. According to Ord.io, these pizzas appear when the BTC used comes from those who were used to buy the pizzas from Laszlo Hanyecz on May 22, 2010.
This isn’t the only mysterious movement taking place in the Bitcoin-sphere, as a user has just sent more than $1.2 million in BTC at Genesis by Satoshi Nakamoto.
Finally, this also shows the potential of Bitcoin Ordinals to store data on a secure blockchain. This transaction demonstrates the security level of the network.
“I’ve been saying this for months now, wait until government secrets are written on Bitcoin, no way to detect or remove it.”replies user X to this inscription.
Someone just spent $1,448 to register this 385 KB 3D helmet into Bitcoin.
It’s the largest 3D inscription ever made.
(if you open it on your phone you can click the AR button to try it on!)
