At 34, Gabriel Attal became this Tuesday, January 9, the youngest Prime Minister in the history of the Fifth Republic. A choice made by President Emmanuel Macron, which he shared with him during a secret breakfast. The former Minister of National Education officially took the place of Elisabeth Borne following a transfer of power on the steps of the Hôtel de Matignon early in the afternoon. Supported by his ex Stéphane Séjourné, the youngest Prime Minister knows that he will have plenty to do, he who must create his government. But, he has all the confidence of the head of state who believes in his “energy” and his “commitment“.

A whirlwind journey for politics but also a “image of ideal son-in-law” which sticks to his skin. And yet, Le Figaro, in its edition this Wednesday January, reveals what the French Prime Minister is up to. Not very healthy habits. Indeed, like Elisabeth Borne before him, Gabriel Attal has a very annoying habit: vaping. Our colleagues from Figaro explain that the already graying Prime Minister is a “anxious young man, who fuels Coke Zero and electronic cigarettes“. And “not missing a single line of what is said about him“.

From Elisabeth Borne to Gabriel Attal, Coca-Cola finds its place in government

More than once, Elisabeth Borne has been seen succumbing to his addiction, vaping in the hemicycle of the National Assembly. Until now, Gabriel Attal has been rather discreet. But stress is likely to increase in the weeks to come, and we may well see the French Prime Minister taking out his electronic cigarette from time to time. And if Elisabeth Borne, her predecessor, had an athletic figure, that didn’t stop her from being also addicted to Diet Coke, revealed Paris Match. The ideal son-in-law Attal opted for Coke Zero.

Two addictions for this “anxious” who continues his meteoric rise. By being appointed to Matignon, he shattered by three years the precocious record held until now by Laurent Fabius.
