Temperatures in Germany are expected to reach 40 degrees on July 19th. RTL and Sat.1 special programs are also planned for the heat wave.

In much of Germany, people will be exposed to “strong heat stress” in the coming days, reports the German Weather Service. Therefore will be the “temporary peak of the heat wave” on July 19 reached. Widespread maximum values ​​of around 34 to 38 degrees are expected, so locally in the west and south-west even up to 40 degrees can be measured. RTL and Sat.1 have announced that they will broadcast special programs on Tuesday.

The “Sat.1 special. Heat wave in Germany” can be seen from 8:15 p.m. and should last 20 minutes. “Where is the water running out? […] And what does the current heat have to do with climate change?” These and other questions are to be answered in the special program with moderator Claudia von Brauchitsch (47). The broadcaster would also like to give recommendations on how citizens can cope better with the temperatures The following broadcasts will be postponed accordingly: “Navy CIS: Hawaii” is scheduled to start at around 8:35 p.m.

Also from 8:15 p.m. the competitor shows the “RTL Aktuell Spezial: Heat in Europe – Germany is sweating”. In the 15-minute special, moderator Peter Kloeppel (63) receives, among others, Bernd Fuchs, the broadcaster’s weather expert. They will talk about possible heat records and also take a look at southern Europe, where devastating forest fires are raging. “The King of the Children’s Heads” then runs from 8:30 p.m.
