Helicopter rescue – German and Viennese collided on the Nassfeld

A German and a Viennese skier collided on the Nassfeld. Both had to go to the hospital – the 28-year-old German even by rescue helicopter.

On Monday around 11 a.m., a 28-year-old German and a 45-year-old man from Vienna collided with their skis on slope no. 51 in the Nassfeld ski area at an altitude of 1669 meters. Both skiers fell. The 28-year-old was seriously injured and had to be taken to the LKH Villach by the ARA3 rescue helicopter. The second party went independently in medical treatment.
