Conny Naschberger, a long-time air rescuer on board Heli 4, still cannot believe what “happened” to him and his two colleagues on Saturday in a Ruetz branch in the Zillertal. “We were on the return flight from a mission and the fog prevented us from landing for the time being. Our pilot then found a hole in the fog and we flew under the fog in the Zillertal valley to Uderns. But nothing worked there anymore,” he says. At least the crew was able to land the helicopter safely.
