TV icon wants to get back on TV screens

Hella von Sinnen would like to go back to the TV screen. She still considers herself “the best entertainer on German television”.
Hella von Sinnen (62) became known in the 80s at the side of Hugo Egon Balder (71), most recently the TV icon was with him in “Genial beseben” and the show offshoots “Genial beseben – Das Quiz” and ” Awesome or wrong? ” to see. Now she wants to go back to the TV screen, as she told “Bild am Sonntag”. “I recently read that old men are being recycled again at RTL,” explains the 62-year-old. “I would also like to be recycled.”
Hella von Sinnen spent the past few months in the corona pandemic in her Cologne apartment. You miss your job. “I want to be able to do analog television again, as we once did,” she says. “The viewers who feel like watching a campfire at home and no longer want to stream the whole day should once again see people who can do the job.” Von Sinnen thinks she is “still the best entertainer on German television”.
Just last week Hugo Egon Balder announced that he would be saying goodbye to Sat.1 and the quiz show “Genial besides”. “There is no future. After this season it’s over,” he said in conversation with the “RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland” (RND). It is still unclear whether the quiz show will continue without Balder. Until recently, permanent members of the advice team were Hella von Sinnen and Wigald Boning (54).
