It seems like ninja theorythe British development studio responsible for Hellblade 2would like to point out to us how hard the team is working on the level of realism of their next game.
Realistic to the end of the guano
Ninja Theory recently tweeted a short video on the studio’s official account, boasting the high level of realism that the developers are aiming for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2.
“Achieving a high level of realism from reference material is extremely important to us. This even includes precisely located bird droppings.” they tweet, not without humor.
Although the tweet is laughable, the process (of spreading manure on a cliff, yes) seems well-honed and efficient, suggesting that the tools used for the graphics and the environment are perfectly balanced when it comes to is about implementing tiny details into the universe. In any case, the developers are clearly proud of their tool.
And if Ninja Theory takes such good care of its poop, chances are they’ll take care of the bigger stuff, too. That’s good, it seems that the world of Hellblade 2 is filled with giants.
True next-gen graphics
If Senua’s Sacrfice: Hellblade was already a very nice game, especially for an independent, it seems that Ninja Theory wants to go even further with the next iteration.
