Recent server outages have prevented many players from playing Diablo IV.

Even worse ! Some have reported losing all track of their progress once back in the game. What hell!

Diablo IVbetween records and server concerns

Launched on June 6 on PC, but also on home consoles, the very (highly) awaited Diablo IV makes the joy of the players, delighted to plunge again into the heart of the hell imagined by Blizzard.

This fourth opus of the license (the first Diablo dates back to 1997) quickly broke all sales records, notably becoming the best-selling Blizzard game during its first week on the market. A success perhaps a little too heavy for Blizzard’s servers, which already show some unfortunate failures.

Hell is the others servers

Indeed, this Wednesday, June 14, many players were faced with a server outage, preventing some from entering the Sanctuary, while others were literally ejected from the game.

Quickly, Blizzard confirmed to be aware of the situation, and if the outages seem to have been resolved, the consequences are proving to be quite disastrous for some players. Indeed, not content with not having been able to enjoy their game, some players of Diablo IV have seen their character disappear from the servers, with obviously all of their progress.

Remember that, like other games, Diablo IV requires a ” Internet connection required to play, including if you want to enjoy the game alone. Many players have asked Blizzard for an offline mode, which would allow them to enjoy the game solo, without worrying about possible server failures and/or the quality of their Internet network.

For the little anecdote, the first player to have reached level 100 in Hardcore mode saw his character perish definitively following… a loss of connection.
