Second boat helped

“One of them didn’t say anything more. Luckily we had a budding doctor with us who took care of him straight away, ”reports Ortner. The seniors received first aid from the ambulance and the emergency doctor from Schärding and were brought to the Passau hospital in several rescue vehicles. A total of four fire brigades with five boats were in action.
