We know season 3 of The Witcher on Netflix is the last with our friend Henry Cavill and it is soon time to turn to his successor Liam Hemsworth.
Last October we could learn the bad news: actor Henry Cavill, much appreciated by fans for both his game and his physique, would no longer play Geralt of Rivia after season 3 of The Witcher. Officially Deadline magazine reports that the departure of Henry Cavill results from the contract that the actor signed with Netflix and which was short-lived. If this is also true in fact, unofficially the actor is also on bad terms with the producer of the series Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the actor considering in particular that the Netflix show does not sufficiently honor the work of the author Andrzej]Sapkowski.
A replacement whose merits are already praised for The Witcher
God knows it must be difficult for an actor to take the place of another, especially after already 3 seasons in the same role. The spectators are used to Cavill and it may be very difficult to be able to convince everyone. However, Liam Hemsworth seems to be doing a very good job on the set according to the first opinions. It’s amazing to have Liam. I think he’s going to be a whole new Geralt, and that’s really exciting.
Who is Liam Hemsworth?
The Hemsworth family is starting to be very well known since Liam is the brother of Chris and Luke Hemsworth who are also actors. The best known of them being obviously Chris who embodies Thor at Marvel. Liam Hemsworth who replaces Henry Cavill is particularly known for having played in The Hunger Games but also Expendables 2. Now we can’t wait to be able to discover it in season 4 of The Witcher.
