An American teenager is charged with the manslaughter of her three-year-old little sister who was too loud.
Her three-year-old sister was doing too much noise. A 16-year-old girl is charged with committing irreparable harm in Altamonte Spring, in the US state of Florida, on July 15, 2022, reports Click Orlando. She babysat her little sister while her mother was telecommuting in the next room when the tragedy happened. According to the police report quoted by the local media, the young American wanted silence his little sister because she disturbed her mother in the middle of a telephone conversation for work.
Baby reportedly suffocated on pillow
For his part, not hearing no more crying, no more screaming, the mother said she noticed her baby had calmed down. After about ten minutes of silence, the young girl suddenly entered the room, which served as an office, carrying her unconscious little sister in her arms. According to the first elements of the investigation, the police believe that the teenager placed a pillow on his little sister’s head to calm her down, quickly causing a deadly asphyxiation. The infant would therefore have died of suffocation.
