Marwan Berreni has not been found since August 4. The 34-year-old actor went missing and his car was later found. While the investigation continues, it has still yielded nothing yet. His parents are distraught and wrote a poignant letter in Release hoping to find him : “Marwan, if you think you need help to chase away this dark cloud that hangs over you and makes you feel sadness and despair; so that everything will be better tomorrow; Marwan, our son, face your fears (…) get back on your path, believe in yourself (…). You are unique, you are wonderful, we love your laugh, we love your smile. Marwan, simply, we love you, and believe in you! Come back ! We need you ! Pop and Mam”, can we read.
In Libération, Mourad Berreni also wanted to respond to Nathalie Marquey’s comments in PAF, last September 18. The widow of Jean-Pierre Pernaut had, in fact, assured that she had had an exchange with Marwan Berreni a few months ago on the Pierre Palmade affair. And the actor would have made confusing remarks: “If I knocked someone over, I couldn’t stand it. I couldn’t live with it, I’d fuck myself up.” The actor’s father was outraged by Nathalie Marquey’s confidences and declared: “It has nothing to do with the Palmade affair. We don’t even know if he was driving. To tell the truth, we don’t know anything.”

“An inhumane situation”
Rachel-Flore Pardo, the lawyer for Marwan Berreni’s parents, also took the floor to take stock of the situation: “It has now been two months since Marwan Berreni disappeared. His parents are left in total disarray. They are not kept informed of any investigation carried out. They have only one desire that everything is done to find their son”, she explained to our colleagues. In the columns of Release, Mourad and Martine Berreni deplored “an inhumane situation”.
