It has been almost two months since the disappearance of Leslie Hoorelbeke and her boyfriend Kevin Trompat remains a mystery. The couple has been missing since the night of November 25, 2022 and speculation is already rife about the reasons for this disturbing event which took place near Niort. Jérémy, a relative of the 20-year-old girl, explained with concern that he had never heard of Leslie’s boyfriend. And a few days ago, another friend, named Tom, was in turn suspected in the case, pushing his mother to come to his defense.
If the mystery remains whole, the parents of the young girl have the intimate conviction that this one is alive, held prisoner somewhere by a third person. Leslie’s Parents: ‘She’s Locked Up By Someone’
“We think by elimination. We know that she did not leave voluntarily, we know that there was no accident. They did not disappear by snapping their fingers in a small village. There therefore has a third person. For us, it is locked up by someone so as not to give us any news”estimated Émilie Cardre, the mother-in-law of the young woman, at the microphone of our colleagues from BFM TV. An observation shared by his companion and father of Leslie, Patrick Hoorelbeke: “The kidnappers, that’s the most likely hypothesis for us”.
For them, it is impossible to imagine that the young girl could have disappeared voluntarily. The family also describes Leslie Hoorelbeke as a woman full of projects. “The last message she sent us was a photo of a water heater, because her dad is renovating his motorhome. We don’t do this to disappear six hours later”, believes the mother-in-law of the missing girl. The Niort prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation for a worrying disappearance while Kevin Trompat’s license was found in a clothing container. The family of the latter is organizing this Thursday, January 5, 2023 a new citizen hunt around the village where the young man and his companion mysteriously disappeared.
