here are all the releases from the March 2024 catalog, very heavy

Like every month, Netflix subscribers are witnessing departures. Here are all the programs (films, series, docs and shows) which will be removed from the platform in March 2024.

In parallel with the new Netflix releases from March 2024, the SVOD service will clean up to delete dozens and dozens of films, series, documentaries, shows and even shows. And subscribers can’t do much about it, that’s how all these platforms work, which acquire rights for a limited period. If the next departures are rather calm, things will get more agitated as time goes on and great classics are on the verge of being erased from the catalog. There are real masterpieces to watch again and again.

Films leaving Netflix in March 2024

Last month, Netflix included some truly timeless gems in the February 2024 releases. Prepare to block out several evenings in March, because the removals are even bigger. The great classics such as Scarface (the remake by Brian De Palma), Ghost and Last Action Hero are living their last days on the platform. The legendary Tom Cruise won’t be able to stay either and leaves like a prince in the company of Henry Cavill, his tight shirt and his beautiful mustache, since Mission Impossible Fallout leaves Netflix after March 13.

With our keen eye, we also spotted the next disappearance of Crawl with Kaya Scodelario (Skins, Le Labyrinthe, The Gentlemen…), and directed by Alexandre Aja (The Hill Has Eyes, Piranha 3D). This is a very effective survival/B series where the young woman will engage in a confrontation with alligators, after a huge storm hits Florida. Rest assured, it’s not Sharknado or anything, but a truly successful film in its genre. In a similar style, but with a more disappointing result, there is Overlord by Julius Avery. A very light war feature film with Nazi zombies.

Netflix series departures from March 2024

It’s going to be tough if you’ve only just started the essential comedy series Community, but all six seasons are also disappearing from Netflix as of March 31. At least that gives you several weekends, and since the episodes are very short (around 20 minutes), you might be able to watch them all before it’s too late.

The Valhalla Murders, a BBC crime production which received good reviews, will be removed from the catalog as of March 13. Or from next week. “An Oslo police officer with a dark past returns to his native Iceland to help a dedicated detective track down the perpetrator of a series of photo-related crimes” official synopsis (via Netflix). For young audiences, it’s also the very last chance to watch the Titeuf or Pablo series, while adults will perhaps be able to thrill to The 100 or The Cursed.

  • The Valhalla Murders (March 13)
  • Million Dollar Listing: New York (March 14)
  • Titeuf (March 16)

Docs and shows removed in March 2024

There aren’t many documentaries and shows in the March 2024 Netflix releases, but there are still some. The report “Not a Game” attempts to paint a portrait of the players, the relationship they have with the media and the way in which the latter is perceived by parents. The possibility of making a career out of it, by getting into esports, and also one of the subjects covered in the doc. If you want to know if it’s full of clichés or not, it will be deleted on March 30th. J-Pop group Perfume is once again taking over the video streaming platform with their concert Reframe Theater Experience with you, which was captured in Shibuya. Finally, three Japanese theatrical performances of “Seven Souls in the Skull Castle” also appear in the Netflix releases.

  • Reframe THEATER EXPERIENCE with you – Perfume concert (March 18)
  • Not a Game (March 30)
  • Seven Souls in the Skull Castle: Season Bird; Season Flower & Season Wind (March 31)
