Here are the most searched for brands on Vinted in 2023 (and we didn’t expect that!)

Vinted is celebrating its 10th anniversary on French soil! For the occasion, the online platform for second-hand clothing and accessories reveals which brands are most popular with buyers. Some surprises are included in the ranking!

10 years ago, Vinted announced its arrival on French soil, from Vilnius (Lithuania), where the website had been created five years earlier by a couple from the country. Since then, the online market of second hand on which you can find a multitude of clothing and accessories for men, women and children, lists more than 23 million members. A growing success which makes it a unicorn among us! To celebrate this happy anniversary, Vinted has decided to unveil the names of the brands most popular with French buyers from the beginning of 2023 and until the end of October.

While a new feature has just appeared to protect against counterfeits, we learn that the brand Converse is in the Top 10. The shoe brand of American origin, famous for its starry logo, has experienced renewed interest since 2003 and its acquisition by Nike. Adidas And Mango are also very well classified, in the same way as Levi’swhose timeless jeans are sure to find their place on Vinted.

The most searched item in 2023 on Vinted is…

In the ranking unveiled this week by Vinted, we find other more recent brands, such as Sézane, founded in 2013 by Morgane Sézalory, and whose recipes are mainly made online. In its press release, the site team also reveals that the most searched for item in 2023 is the Bambino bag by Jacquemus, whose stylist and founder of the brand Simon Porte Jacquemus has seen his notoriety grow in just a few years. The said bag succeeds the Ganni leather jacket (2022), the Columbus Vintage bag by Dior (2021) and the mini baguette bag by Fendi (2020 and 2019), first previously.

Furthermore, we learn in detail that the clothing and accessories listed for women are the most numerous on Vinted. In fact, they represent almost 50% of products available on the site, ahead of those for children which represent a third of the sales recorded. Articles for “Men” correspond in total to only 10% of articles online. Would the male gender feel less concerned by fashion and second-hand goods? Anyway, a recent analysis allowed us to demonstrate that Vinted had been theapp most used by parents for back-to-school shopping, ahead of Intersport and Kiabi. From there to thinking that it could be the same for the end of year celebrations…
