The confinement has upset the daily life of the French, and their sexuality! Some people no longer see everyday devices and objects in the same way … We-Vibe, the leading manufacturer of connected sex toys for couples using a dedicated mobile application, conducted a survey of 9,000 people around the world, including 1000 French people, to learn more about their daily life at home and their (erotic) experiences with household appliances and new technologies.
Washing machine, shower head … Household appliances that excite the French
The washing machine can be synonymous with chore of linen or scenes of hot sex worthy of a film. Reality or fiction? According to the survey, the washing machine would excite 13% of French people sexually, against 22% among our German neighbors and 23% among Austrians! But with 33% of the votes, the device that comes out on top is none other than the famous shower head which excites men (29%) almost as much as women (36%). It also comes first among the Spanish with 39% of the vote.
Say Siri … Who are the sexiest voice assistants?
Like Joaquim Phoenix in the movie Her who falls under the charm of the suave voice of Scarlett Johansson, the French are delighted by the voice of their voice assistants. According to a study by We-Vibe, the voices of Alexa and the Google Assistant are the ones that most excite the French. In fact, 27% of men confess to fantasizing about Alexa's voice and 23% of women would fantasize about the voice of Google Assistant. Siri ranks second with 13% of the vote (12% of men and 14% of women).
Connected objects as a couple
More and more couples are turning to connected sex toys. 29% of French people would use intelligent sex toys in their private life and 39% say they are ready to buy them for
add spice to their married life. And when We-Vibe asks French people to think about what sex could hold for us in the future, 35% of women and 27% of men think of sex toys that are even more intelligent and connected.
