Here in LIVETICKER – LIVE: Goal in Lustenau! The home side make it 3:1

Austria Lustenau wants to take the momentum of the 1-1 draw at Rapid into the upcoming home game. The promoted team welcomes TSV Hartberg in the fourth round of the Bundesliga on Sunday. Here with us in the sportkrone.at-LIVETICKER you are right there with us! It is currently 3:1 for Lustenau.

Here’s the LIVETICKER: With the confidence they have gathered and their own fans behind them, Lustenau wants to score the next three points in their own stadium. “Our goal is a home win,” emphasized coach Markus Mader. The starting position has changed significantly compared to the Rapid guest appearance, Lustenau is going into the encounter as a slight favorite due to the successful start to the season. Mader still expects a tough fight: “It will be another difficult game, much more difficult than last week.” Vorarlberg is currently sixth in the table with four points. In preparation for the duel with the Styrians, one or the other question mark came up. “Hartberg is a grab bag. They’ve played with different systems in the last three games,” said Mader. He therefore does not know exactly what to expect from his team, but the basic focus is on his own game anyway. For the second home game of the season, the coach can draw on almost everything. With the exception of the long-term injured Daniel Tiefenbach and Adriel, all players are fit. Austria Lustenau and Hartberg meet for the first time in Austria’s top division. The last encounters between the two teams took place in the 2017/18 Hartberg promotion season. The Styrians won three of the four meetings in a draw. Hartberg is currently ninth in the table with three points. However, coach Klaus Schmidt was able to take positives from the performance of the Styrians against Salzburg: “We sold solidly for 50 minutes, defended well and with a bit of luck we could have scored a goal.” In the end, however, the difference in level was noticeable, emphasized the coach. Before the duel with the promoted team, Schmidt paid tribute to his opponent: “Lustenau offered refreshing performances, especially last week at Rapid. They have a certain class in their ranks and started well.” The coach expected a balanced game in which the day’s form would decide in the end. The routine and experience in the Bundesliga speak for his team, but the resulting euphoria in Lustenau has to be curbed first. All players are available to Schmidt for the guest appearance in the Ländle. After the departure of Donis Avdijaj, who moved to FC Zurich with coach Franco Foda, the Styrians are still looking for a striker. “We are in intensive talks, but it won’t be finalized by Sunday,” said Schmidt. “Over the course of the next week we want to present a newcomer.”
