From a technical point of view, the Sony RX100 V is, without a doubt, an excellent body: fast, capable of very beautiful images, filming in 4K/UHD, all while fitting in a pocket. No doubt, he impresses and is something to dream about. But, there is always a but, its format is unsuitable for its technological potential, which spoils the handling and the pleasure of use. For anyone looking for this level of performance, at the price asked by Sony (€1200 at launch), a hybrid will probably do the job better, from Sony or elsewhere.
