Here is the food to eat every day to reduce wrinkles according to a dermatologist: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on our face is completely natural. While some people decide that wrinkles are part of them, others have a harder time accepting them and try to hide them by any means possible. In this case, there are many tips to reduce them naturally. You can practice self-massage on your face, they help stimulate lymphatic drainage for smooth and toned skin. Also, it is essential to apply anti-aging serums morning and/or evening to prevent or reduce the appearance of wrinkles. This allows new, fresh cells to appear which are hidden beneath dead skin cells, a dermatologist explained to us during an interview with Current wife.

Your diet is also very important. Indeed, certain foods boost the production of collagen. There is also a drink that we consume every day that protects the skin from skin aging. And that’s not all: a dermatologist recently revealed the food that would prevent the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Almonds: the natural anti-wrinkle recommended by a dermatologist

In a video posted on social networks, dermatologist Neera Nathan, American specialist in aesthetic dermatology and laser medicine, revealed the importance for your skin of eating almonds regularly. “I tell my patients that eating three handfuls of almonds a day is a natural way to treat wrinkles“, explains the dermatology expert. Rich in vitamin E, almonds protect your skin from cellular aging because they nourish it deeply. The dermatologist supports her statement: “a 24-week clinical study showed that women who consumed about 400 calories of almonds per day (about three handfuls) had a significant reduction in facial lines and wrinkles and hyperpigmentation“, she explains.

The cited study was published in the scientific journal MDPI Journals in 2021. To measure the impact of almonds on skin aging, scientists from the University of California at Davis (United States) analyzed the epidermis (wrinkle depth and pigmentation) of 56 women for two years postmenopausal women aged 47 to 84 with phototype 1 or 2 skin (which corresponds to fairly light skin tones). As a result, the average depth of wrinkles was significantly reduced in almond consumers (around 16% less after 24 weeks). Same observation on the pigmentation of the skin which has decreased by 20%. Thus, these results highlighted the positive effects of daily almond consumption on photoaging, in particular on the attenuation of facial wrinkles and the reduction of skin pigmentation.

At breakfast, at the end of a meal or as a snack, don’t hesitate to eat a few almonds to keep your skin young and healthy. Plus, it’s delicious!
