Magneto 3.0 is the name of this third Jeep Wrangler concept.

Like the first concept (in 2021), it is a Jeep all-terrain vehicle, all 100% electric!

Jeep Wrangler Magneto, third!

In 2021, Jeep unveiled Magneto, a first 100% electric concept revisiting the Wrangler. Today, the manufacturer continues its momentum with a third version of this same concept which represents more than ever what a future production electric Wrangler could look like.

If the first version had a 289 hp electric block, this new Magneto 3.0 concept offers a new electric motor, equipped with two power modes with a choice of 289 hp and 370 Nm, or the total power overall, no less than 659 hp and 1220 Nm of torque. On the battery side, we find here a block of 70 kWh.

A 100% electric future (also) at Jeep

This third version also offers an optimized energy recovery system, as well as a new descent mode which allows the driver to benefit from total control using a single pedal, in order to optimize precision when driving on a rocky terrain.

Let us recall in passing that at the start of the year, it was a certain Jeep Avenger which was awarded the title of “Car of the Year 2023”. An electric model with a 156 hp engine, not to mention a 54 kWh battery for a range of 400 km (according to the manufacturer). The manufacturer aims to become the world leader in zero-emission SUVs in the short term, ahead of Toyota, for example, which has announced that it is aiming for zero emissions by 2035 for all its vehicles.

To do this, Jeep is developing a full range of electrified products, including the all-new Jeep Recon (which will begin production in 2024) and an all-new Wagoneer. In total, four 100% electric Jeep vehicles should be available by 2025.
