Far from being offended, Microsoft is riding the buzz and creating a real life-size fridge in the colors of its console. The “joke” goes further since in April 2021, the firm promises to produce miniature versions if it wins the tweet of the year competition. It did, and the final product arrived a few months later.
But behind all this history lies something that has been forgotten: the Xbox Series S. Why shouldn’t it be entitled to its household appliance version after all? It remains to find what it makes you think of. Not a fridge, it’s already done. Something smaller in this case, like a toaster. Yes, that will do the trick. Spotted in early 2023, the official Xbox Series S toaster finally arrives in stores. We find on the front side the black ventilation grille emblematic of the console as well as the white color, but that’s not all.

The device is stamped Xbox at the top left of its front. It remains a real toaster, with 4 different modes, 6 heating levels, a guide to automatically center the slices, a crumb catcher, an illuminated countdown, a defrost button… And above all, an essential function: he prints the Xbox logo on the toast. Enough to affirm your love for the Microsoft console right from breakfast. Or, as Microsoft puts it, to start “each day with a dose of nostalgia and excitement.”
On the website of Wallmart, an American store chain, the Xbox Series S toaster is available for $39.99. In France, it is possible to pre-order it on different platforms without price conversion, either €39.99. If you fall for the machine, it should arrive in store or at your home on January 31, 2024.
