On January 10 in Here everything begins (TF1, 6:35 p.m.), Tom is attacked by an Internet user and Michel Sarran makes an incredible proposal to Maxime …

In the episode ofHere it all begins from Monday January 10, 2022, Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche) ousted Clotilde (Elsa Lunghini) from the competition for culinary schools. The latter asks Maxime (Clément Rémiens) to go and plead in her favor, but the young cook agrees with the director’s decision. Moreover, it was he who told Teyssier that Clotilde was not suited to represent the Institute. A little later, the students are surprised to see the chef Armand appear in the kitchen. The latter suggests that Maxime prefers to team up with Teyssier because he’s a man. Lionel (Lucien Belvès) and Charlène (Pola Petrenko) fall from the clouds. Salomé does not understand why Maxime prefers to work with Teyssier rather than with a chef of integrity. The young man explains to him that he cannot afford to lose the competition. Indeed, if Louis (Fabian Wolfrom) wins, he will take over the management of the Institute.

After being tricked by a malicious YouTuber, Tom (Tom Darmon) records a video to restore the truth to his subscribers. Unfortunately, his approach did not have the desired effect. Many subscribers continue to insult him and Tom fears losing everything he worked for. Marta (Sarah Fitri) tries to reassure him, but Tom points out to him that without his work as an influencer, he will no longer have enough to pay for his studies at the Institute. To calm things down, Tom decides to resume his activities and does a live. A surfer nicknamed “KILLTOM” takes the opportunity to insult him, but Tom pisses himself off and humiliates him live. The live is a great success, which reassures the young cook. But at the end of the day, Tom is assaulted in the middle of the street by a stranger, who turns out to be KILLTOM. Ambre (Claire Morin) witnesses the assault and hits KILLTOM to scare him away. She then calls for help …

Chef Sarran makes a proposal to Maxime

In the early afternoon, Antoine (Frédéric Diefhental) kicks off the competition for the best culinary school in France. Chef Michel Sarran, president of the jury, presents the five pairs in competition. Arriving, Teyssier and Maxime are booed, forcing Antoine to restore order in the assembly. During the first test, only the pupil can taste the dish to be reproduced and must describe it to his chef. Maxime thinks the meat has undergone a double cooking, pan and oven, but this is very difficult to determine. During the test, he notices that no pair passes the meat in the oven. He begins to doubt, but Teyssier decides to follow his student’s instinct to cook meat in the oven.

Then comes the stage of tasting. Élodie and the chef Cardone (Alexandra Vandernoot) are doing well, but their tile is a failure. Élodie apologizes to her boss, who gets angry with her. For their part, Louis and Enzo (Aziz Diabaté) impress chef Sarran. He notes, however, that Enzo confused clementine with orange. Finally, Maxime and Teyssier recognized all the good ingredients. Michel Sarran even congratulates Maxime on cooking the meat. In the end, Élodie and Cardone, Enzo and Louis and Maxime and Teyssier are selected for the second round. At the end of the day, Michel Sarran goes to see Maxime to compliment him. Maxime apologizes for the boos, but the boss doesn’t care. He points out that it will be much worse when Maxime has his starred restaurant. The apprentice chef couldn’t believe that a chef as talented as Sarran paid him such a compliment. And that’s not all. The chef announces to Maxime that he is looking for a young chef for his new restaurant in San Francisco. He explains to her that if he wins the competition, the place could come to him …
