In the next episode of “Here it all begins”… Antoine investigates Pénélope. While Anaïs takes care of David, Joachim is desperately looking for a romantic gift for Clotilde.

Thursday March 14 in Here it all begins…
Anaïs rushes to David’s aid
David is preparing to spend his first day away from Deva. Anaïs and Salomé go to his room to wake him up. They inform him that he is going to be late for Guinot’s class, but David refuses to get up. So, Salomé removes the blanket, and Anaïs throws her clothes at her.
Finally up, David goes to the Institute. When he arrives, he can’t help but look at the portrait of Deva hanging in the hallway. Marc and Clotilde arrive and ask him if this is the first time he has experienced a long-distance relationship. David informs them that they have chosen to break up in order to allow Deva to fully experience her adventure in Argentina.
Clotilde confides to Marc that she is worried about David. She fears that he will start drinking again, especially since “The first few months of abstinence can be quite trying.” She asks her colleague if it would be possible to adjust her schedule. Marc promises to watch over the young man.
A few minutes later, Marc goes to the Double A kitchens to speak to Anaïs. He asks her about David and confides his doubts about him starting to drink again. Anaïs replies that she will not let go of David.
As David prepares to return home, Anaïs stops him. She asks him to take care of Double A’s inventory with her. David replies that he prefers to take a nap. Anaïs insists and succeeds in convincing the young man to help her.
Joachim asks Hortense for help
In the early morning, Clotilde discovers her companion, her eyes fixed on her new passion: stones. Indeed, Joachim has just received a stone that he has been waiting for for a long time: “I’ve wanted one like this for a while.”. To tease him, Clotilde replies: “You’re not just a handsome guy who’s handy, actually.”.
At the Auguste Armand Institute, Joachim presents Hortense with the structure for the wedding buffet. He takes advantage of this moment to ask him what he could offer Clotilde for their two years of relationship. Hortense responds: “A pygmy goat, a chocolate sculpture with your two heads kissing, or a knife sharpener with his initials?”.
These unusual ideas are not to Joachim’s taste. So, Hortense suggests that she carry out her investigation by discreetly questioning Clotilde. Joachim accepts, although he knows that the young woman is the queen of blunders.
Hortense sees Clotilde sitting in the Institute park. She joins the chef on the pretext that she wants to know his opinion for her list of wedding gifts with Mehdi. But faced with Hortense’s finesse, Clotilde quickly understands what is going on. Hortense, now unmasked, asks Clotilde what she is going to offer Joachim. The latter answers: a trip to Sicily like two years ago, with a helicopter ride above a volcano. The young woman remains speechless.
At the end of the day, Joachim meets Hortense in the corridors of the Institute. He asks her if she succeeded in carrying out her investigation, but the young woman pretends nothing. Joachim tells him that he is going to give Clotilde a comb.
As is often the case, Hortense does not keep her promise and reveals the surprise trip to Sicily to Joachim. Joachim did not expect such a gift. Hortense adds: “It’s not a gift she’s giving you, it’s a huge declaration of love.”
Did Pénélope attack Yann?
Souleymane is leaving. Antoine takes advantage of this little moment with his son to tell him that there may be something new in the investigation. Souleymane tries to find out more, but his father does not prefer to talk about it until nothing is certain. He hugs him and tells him he loves him.
A few minutes later, Antoine informs Rose of what he learned with Tom: Yann would have argued with Pénélope and she would have returned to her room very late. Antoine is confused. Rose advises him not to talk to Penelope about it, because it could end their relationship, but Antoine is ready to sacrifice his relationship: “If it can bring Souleymane back.”
Antoine is about to broach the subject with Pénélope, when suddenly, Laetitia asks him to come urgently, because there is a problem with a supplier. Pénélope suggests to Myriel that they resume their conversation at the end of the day.
While waiting for the meeting, Antoine decides to question Yann once again. He asks the young man if he remembers arguing with Penelope during the evening. Yann thinks a little, and says he remembers the young woman’s angry face. Antoine thanks him, but Yann adds: “I think she was with someone.”. He didn’t know this man, but remembers that Penelope left with him in the car.
Antoine finds Pénélope in the kitchen. He asks her if she has a strong memory from the end of the evening, like an argument. Penelope replies that she left around midnight. Suddenly, she receives a message on her phone: “Ok, so let’s meet at 6 p.m. at the cafe next to your school. Please don’t leave me behind”. Antoine takes advantage of the fact that Pénélope’s back is turned to read the SMS.
Penelope finds Billie at the Institute park. She shows him the messages she receives from her mysterious contact. Penelope says to her friend: “I should never have agreed to see him again.” Billie responds: “Do you realize the quagmire he’s putting you in?”. Penelope promises her friend that this is the last time.
Antoine goes to the café where Pénélope has a meeting with her stranger. Suddenly he sees her with a man. He arrives more furious than ever and asks his girlfriend if it was with him that she attacked Yann. The young woman is in shock, she replies that it is Baptiste, her ex, then orders Antoine to leave.
