In the next episode of “Here it all begins”… Hortense is faced with a terrible dilemma. For his part, Tom embarks on a major scientific study. At Double A, Anaïs bluffs a great chef.

Friday April 5 in Here it all begins…
Hortense is faced with a dilemma
At the Institute, Mehdi finds Hortense in the greenhouse to talk. He apologizes to her, acknowledging that he was selfish when she needed his support. Hortense retorts that she wasn’t perfect either. Mehdi thinks, on the contrary, that she has shown herself to be irreproachable. In fact, he doesn’t know that Hortense and Anthony exchanged a kiss the day before…
Later, Vic calls Mehdi. Concerning the distribution of the nude, Vic swears that it was only a way to separate Hortense and Anthony because she found that he had too much influence on her. But Vic says she blames herself a lot. Mehdi reassures her, certain that Hortense will eventually forgive her.
At the Workshop, Hortense works alongside her brigade. Tensions arise between Maya and Malik when they realize they are looking after the same entrance. Malik asks Hortense so that she can decide between them, but the young woman is completely out of her element.
Hortense goes to the CDI where Mehdi is to tell him that Anthony kissed him the day before. She adds that she pushed him away, but Mehdi immediately turns away. For him, this is proof that Hortense regrets having left her ex. He then decides to go home and do his business in order to spend the weekend with his mother.
After which, Hortense joins Anthony at the café in the city center. She declares that he should never have kissed the day before, then asks him to return to Bordeaux so that she can refocus on her life. Anthony respects her request, while pointing out that she doesn’t seem happy in her marriage. Before leaving the place, he also adds how good he has been feeling around her lately.
Back at the Atelier, Hortense organizes the tasting of the starters and the wedding main course for Clotilde and Joachim. The latter find the starters too classic for their taste. On the other hand, they are seduced by the dish… which was precisely inspired by Anthony.
Once the tasting is over, Clotilde comes to check on Hortense. The latter admits to being completely disoriented, not only following the death of her father, but also in relation to the two men for whom she has feelings. Clotilde advises him to follow his instinct to choose one of the two.
Hortense then runs through the entire Institute to the parking lot where she stops a car that was about to leave. She begs the driver to stay… Is it Mehdi or Anthony?
Anaïs bluffs chef Meyer
At the Workshop, the Master’s students welcome chef Meyer, one of their speakers. Rose explains that her role will be to give them feedback on their concept and help them prepare for the oral. Chef Meyer immediately asks the students to present their project to her in a few words. Jude and Lionel talk about their anti-inflation restaurant. When Anaïs’s turn comes, she admits that she had started on a zero waste project but that she is no longer very sure. She explains that she works a lot at Double A and therefore hasn’t had time to think about it further.
Later, Meyer admits to Teyssier that she did not expect Anaïs’ project to be so light even though she knows her talent. The school director retorts that Anaïs’ real project is precisely Double A where she continues to shine and innovate. He encourages his colleague to see it with her own eyes.
Meyer therefore goes to the kitchen during service to observe Anaïs. She actually notes her progress since last year. At the end of the service, however, the chef makes Anaïs understand that her talent deserves another project than Double A. She encourages her to think about what comes next and see bigger.
Tom is jealous of Thibault
During Guinot’s class, Thibault and Billie are in pairs. Their complicity annoys Tom who observes them from afar. When Guinot comes to taste, then congratulate their work, Thibault suggests that Billie go and celebrate by inviting her to a concert where he was going with Jasmine. Billie accepts his invitation.
Later, Tom asks Billie if she plans to go to the concert with Thibault. She confirms this to him. Tom openly suspects Thibault of taking advantage of the fact that they are on a break and that he was dumped by Jasmine to flirt with Billie. Indeed, Tom does not believe in male-female friendship. Billie reframes him, advising him not to apply what concerns him to all men. She reminds him that he was the one who picked up a girl on a dating app when they were still in a relationship.
In the cafeteria, Tom and Lionel clash with Jasmine and Kelly on the subject of male-female friendship. The boys argue that it’s impossible, while the girls think otherwise. They also turn his theory against Tom by emphasizing his reputation as the Institute’s greatest charo.
